Colleen Hall-Clark

Owner, CRA, P.App, Residential Appraiser

Colleen started working with John Rivington in 1999 as a Candidate Appraiser with the Appraisal Institute of Canada. She later earned her Canadian Residential Appraiser (CRA) designation to add to her Architectural Drafting technician diploma.  In 2012 she bought the residential portion of the business from John when he retired.

As the business owner, Colleen is still a residential appraiser serving Perth and surrounding area but also manages the day-to-day operations. Colleen works hard but in her downtime, she enjoys gardening, spending time with family and taking scenic rides as the passenger on her husband’s motorcycle.

Cindy Rivington

Cindy has been handling the bookkeeping, accounts payables, receivables and payroll for Rivington since 2011, but has worked within the company since 1994. Cindy has a versatile skillset, a lot of integrity and willingness to go the extra mile to help staff and customers. 

In her downtime, Cindy likes to enjoy nice restaurants, share a bottle of wine with friends and cuddle up beside her woodstove with a good book and her two pugs.

Tanya joined the Rivington team in 2011 as an office administrator and was quickly inspired to pursue a career as an appraiser. She’s been working as an appraiser since 2013 and is currently a candidate member of the Canadian National Association of Real Estate Appraisers, working toward her Designated Appraiser Residential designation.

Tanya loves the family-like feel of Rivington where she knows her work matters. Being a people person, working as an appraiser is a good fit for Tanya. Tanya serves Lanark and Frontenac Counties. In her downtime, Tanya, her two sons and husband try to fish and ATV whenever they can, and catch a good hockey game.

Office Administrator

Krista is the office administrator at Rivington and has been the glue that holds the team together since 2015. Her colleagues appreciate her efficiency and ability to help make their jobs easier. Krista loves working with Rivington because of the team’s closeness and how everyone is personable — colleagues and clients alike.

Outside of the office, Krista spends lots of time with her son and likes to connect with family and friends.

Christine Rousselle

Christine’s career truly reflects a blend of professionalism and personal values. Her specialized focus is on urban and rural property appraisals located from the Arnprior area, West Carleton, Pakenham, to parts of Lanark County, including Mississippi Mills and Beckwith Townships. Christine has her Certified Executor Advisor (CEA) designation, highlighting her commitment to providing expert services in Estate appraisals.

Her experience, rooted in her membership with the Appraisal Institute of Canada since 2004, and Rivington Appraisers Inc. since 2011; speaks to a long-standing dedication to her craft. Christine’s work at Rivington Appraisers Inc. further emphasizes her collaborative approach, especially given her positive working relationships with colleagues and the support she receives from the admin team. This strong communication flow helps ensure her clients receive the attention they deserve.

On a personal level, Christine’s connection to the Arnprior and Renfrew areas, where she grew up and enjoys country living, further enriches her perspective. Her love for camping and gardening aligns with her values of work-life balance and her desire to remain connected to nature, ensuring she’s grounded both professionally and personally.

Chantel Winney

Chantel started learning the ropes and shadowing Colleen as a candidate appraiser in 2014 after seven years of working as a licensed realtor. In 2015, Chantel started working in the field doing appraisals on her own. Chantel serves clients in the Smiths Falls, Athens and Rideau Lakes regions including Portland, Westport and Elgin, as she works towards her full Canadian Residential Appraiser designation.

Meeting new people and watching the progress and changes people make to their homes is what Chantel loves about her job. She and her husband live in an old farmhouse on a 148 acre hobby farm near Merrickville.

Dawn Martinson

Dawn transitioned her knowledge of residential real estate after 18 years as a realtor to become a candidate member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada working with Rivington Appraisers in 2020. Dawn has always enjoyed following residential real estate trends and market changes as well as market statistics.

Dawn works in the Ottawa real estate market and her area includes Nepean, Kanata, Barrhaven, Riverside South, Manotick, Greely, Kars, North Gower and extends to the surrounding areas of Kemptville, Merrickville, Spencerville and North Dundas.
In her spare time, Dawn enjoys antique boats and cars as well as culinary pursuits.

Dana Valliquette

Dana is currently an AIC Candidate Member completing courses with the University of British Columbia – Sauder School of Business to achieve her full Designation with the Appraisal Institute of Canada.

Previously, Dana graduated from the Registered Practical Nursing Program at St. Lawrence College with registration through the College of Nurses of Ontario. Dana spent a number of years in the nursing field specializing in Medical/Surgical, Geriatric and Management Nursing, managing Retirement Residences throughout her nursing career. However, Dana grew up her whole life in the appraisal world and discovered that this was her true passion.

Dana grew up and currently lives within the Lanark and Leeds counties, making her very knowledgeable within her service area, which provides her with a deep understanding of the local real estate markets. Dana enjoys the family feel, communication and support
of Rivington’s colleagues, where everyone supports each other and makes the appraisal process seamless, to better service our clients.

In her free time Dana enjoys her fair share of relaxing along with completing courses, while endlessly completing home renovations, landscaping and DIY projects of all sizes. Dana enjoys constantly learning about the construction field and loves to see new construction projects come to light.
